Sales TaxVacumart charges sales tax on shipments made to the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
Customers shipping to Alabama – Vacumart collects the simplified sellers use tax on taxable transactions delivered into Alabama and the tax will be remitted on the customer’s behalf to the Alabama Department of Revenue. Seller’s program account number is VAC-T10945467.
3. Payment and Credit TermsVacumart accepts cash, company checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal. For customers with established Vacumart credit, payment terms are net thirty (30) days from the date of shipment or pick up. All credit extended by Vacumart to customer, and the limits of such credit, is at Vacumart’s sole discretion, and may be reduced or revoked by Vacumart at any time, for any reason. Vacumart reserves the right to charge a convenience fee for late payments. Vacumart further reserves the right to charge customer a late payment fee at the rate of one and one half percent (1 1/2%) of the amount due for each month or portion thereof that the amount due remains unpaid, or such lesser amount as may be permitted under applicable law. Anticipation and cash discounts are not allowed. All payments must be made in U.S. dollars. Vacumart shall have the right of set off and deduction for any sums owed by customer to Vacumart.
If customer fails to make payment within thirty (30) days of shipment or pick up, or fails to comply with Vacumart’s credit terms, or fails to supply adequate assurance of full performance to Vacumart within a reasonable time after requested by Vacumart (such time as specified in Vacumart’s request), Vacumart may defer shipments until such payment or compliance is made, require cash in advance for any further shipments, demand immediate payment of all amounts then owed, elect to pursue collection action (including without limitation, attorneys’ fees and any and all other associated costs of collection), and/or may, at its option, cancel all or any part of an unshipped order.
Customer agrees to assume responsibility for, and customer hereby unconditionally guarantees payment of, as provided herein, all purchases made by customer, its subsidiaries and affiliates. Each of customer’s subsidiaries and affiliates purchasing from Vacumart will be jointly and severally liable for purchases with customer, and customer is also acting as agent for such subsidiaries and affiliates.
In addition, Vacumart reserves the right, with or without prior notice, to do any one or more of the following: (i) limit the quantity available for purchase per order and/or the number of individual orders that may be placed per customer per day; (ii) discontinue any product or service; (iii) impose conditions on the honoring of any coupon, coupon code, promotional code, or other similar promotion; (iv) bar any user from making or completing any or all transactions; and (v) refuse to provide any user with any product or service.
Furthermore, Vacumart reserves the right to cancel orders at any time, in its sole and absolute discretion, and for any reason whatsoever. Without limiting the foregoing, orders will be canceled automatically if a supplier notifies Vacumart of a delay that will be more than 30 days or of indefinite duration. If Vacumart has not received shipment confirmation from our supplier within 7 days of the original expected ship date, Vacumart will work with the applicable supplier to either update the shipping information or cancel the order. If an order has not shipped within 7 days of the original expected ship date and we cannot provide a new reasonable expected ship date, the order will be canceled.
5. Note to Federal CustomersVacumart products are not offered through a GSA scheduled contract.
6. All Items Are Sold for Domestic Consumption in the United StatesIf exported, purchaser assumes full responsibility for compliance with US export controls.
